Please read this Privacy Policy and ensure that you understand and fully agree with it. If you do not agree with the practices described in this Policy, please refrain from using our Services.
This website (hereinafter referred to as “Shower Center” or “We”) collects some personal data from its users to provide the following services: online design of invitation cards and event organization. This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding the personal data of visitors to our website (“User(s)” or “You”), as they download, access, and use our website or interact in any other way with any of our online services, online advertisements, properties, and media (collectively, “the Services”).
This Policy also describes how we process, on your behalf, the data from your events, in case you choose to upload them to our Services.
Specifically, it describes our practices regarding:
Collection and Storage of Data
We collect three main categories of data (and to the extent they relate to an identifiable individual, we will consider them as “Personal Data”):
Data received from you: You may voluntarily provide us with Personal Data, such as your name and email address when you communicate with us, or details about your events if you choose to submit them when using the Services.
Data collected or generated automatically: When someone visits, interacts, or uses our Services, we may collect or generate technical data about them. We collect or generate such data independently or with the assistance of third-party services (as detailed in Sections 4 and 5 below). Such data consists of technical or aggregated usage data, such as IP address, User-Agent (operating system data, device type and manufacturer, and browser data), regional and language settings used, and Users’ activity (clicks and other interactions) within our Services.
Data received from Google and other channels: We or our advertising partners may receive general information about the performance of our advertising campaigns, such as age group or target interests, from Facebook, Google, and our other marketing channels. We or our partners may link such general information to any other data in our possession (for more information about our advertising practices, read Section 4 below).
Use of Data
We will use your Personal Data as necessary: for the performance of our Services; to comply with applicable law; to support our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving our Services and offerings, understanding how our Services are used, optimizing our marketing and advertising efforts, and delivering effective advertisements on our Services and through other channels; to improve our customer service and support operations; and to protect and secure our Users, ourselves, and our Services.
If you reside or are using the Services (1:) in a territory governed by privacy laws that determine “consent” as the sole legal basis for processing Personal Data (generally, or specifically regarding the types of Personal Data you choose to share through the Services) or (2:) in the EEA (European Economic Area) and provide us with Personal Data, the processing of which requires “consent” under applicable law (e.g., “Special Categories” under the GDPR); your acceptance of our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy will be considered as your consent to the processing of your Personal Data for all purposes detailed in this Policy. If you wish to revoke such consent, please contact us using this form.
Consequently, we store and process your Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To facilitate, operate, and provide our Services;
- To authenticate the identity of our Users and allow them access to additional features;
- To provide our Users with customer care, assistance, and technical support;
- To develop, customize, and further improve the Services and your user experience based on common or personal preferences, experiences, and difficulties;
- To manage and deliver advertisements more effectively, including contextual, behavioral, and interest-based advertising based on your activity or interaction with our Services, and based on your preferences or other data available to us or our business partners, including for retargeting purposes;
- To contact our Users with promotional and service-related messages, both general and personalized, and to facilitate, sponsor, and offer certain events and promotions;
- To support and enhance our data security measures, including to prevent and mitigate the risks of fraud, error, or any illegal or prohibited activity;
- To create aggregated statistical data, inferred non-personal data, or anonymized or pseudonymized data (rendered non-personal), which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; and
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Cookie Policy
Our Services and some of our Service Providers use “cookies,” anonymous identifiers, and other tracking technologies that help us provide and improve our Services, personalize your experience, and monitor the performance of our activities and campaigns, as well as the use of our Services as a whole.
A “cookie” is a small text file used, for example, to collect data about activity on our Site. Some cookies and other technologies serve to remember Personal Data, such as an IP address, previously indicated by the User.
Our Services also use advertising for third-party services and products. We and our advertising partners use certain data about you to improve our advertising practices and make the ads we deliver more effective, relevant, and enjoyable by implementing contextual and interest-based advertising, as well as targeting systems, ad measurement, and attribution. The ads we deliver, either by us or our advertising partners, may be displayed within our Services or through other channels, such as third-party websites and applications.
Such data includes advertising identifiers of your device (e.g., IDFA, if available), your IP address, cookies, pixels, and other unique identifiers, data related to your connected Facebook profile (if applicable, such as your gender, age group, region, or country), and other demographic and interest-based information that we or our advertising partners may have received from you or about you, based on your consent or other legal basis (i.e., as necessary to provide our respective services or based on the legitimate interests we describe in Section 2 above). Please note that we do not share the data you provide through your connected Facebook or Google account with our advertising partners.
Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to the processing of your data by our advertising partners and networks. We recommend that you review their privacy policies for more information (you can find a list of our advertising partners and networks and their policies here).
In particular, this website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. headquartered in the United States at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043. For the provision of these services, Google uses cookies that collect information, including the User’s IP address, which will be transmitted, treated, and stored by Google as set forth on the website Google.com. This includes the possible transmission of such information to third parties for legal requirements or when such third parties process the information on behalf of Google.
Acceptance of Cookies
By accessing this website, the User will be consenting to the use of these cookies. However, at any time, you may change your mind and block their use through the browser.
This Cookie Policy may be modified at any time to comply with regulatory updates or changes in our activities, with the one published on the website being effective at any given time.
How to Adjust Your Preferences Regarding Cookies and Interest-Based Advertising
If you wish to avoid the use of advertising identifiers of your mobile device or other identifiers for interest-based advertising, you can change your device settings to reset such advertising identifier or opt-out of receiving such advertising (usually available in the “Privacy” or “Ads” section of your device settings). You can also change your browser settings to reset or block cookies (usually available in the “Settings” or “Help” section of your browser’s menu).
If you live in the U.S., Canada, or Europe, you can also opt-out of having your data collected by our advertising partners who participate in the Digital Advertising Alliance by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices (for U.S. users), www.youradchoices.ca/choices (for Canadian users), or www.youronlinechoices.eu (for European users).
At any time, you can adjust your browser settings to manage, reject the use of cookies, and be notified before they are downloaded.
You can also adjust your settings so that the browser rejects all cookies, or only third-party cookies. And you can also delete any cookies already on your computer.
Please note that you will have to separately adjust the settings for each browser and device you use to access our site since cookies are associated with the browser, not the individual.

In other words, we will retain your personal data as long as you remain our user and have not notified us otherwise (or deleted your account, as described in Section 8). We will also retain your personal data to comply with our legal and contractual obligations or to protect ourselves from any potential dispute (i.e., as required by applicable laws governing record-keeping, documentation, and accounting, and to have evidence and proofs relating to our relationship, in case of legal issues arising after the termination of use). We may share your data with certain third parties, including law enforcement agencies, our service providers, and our affiliates, but only in accordance with this Policy:
Legal Compliance: We may disclose or allow government officials and law enforcement access to certain personal data in response to a subpoena, search warrant, court order, or similar requirement, or in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including for national security purposes. Such disclosure or access may occur with or without notice to you, if we believe in good faith that we are legally obligated to do so, or that the disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding actual or suspected illegal activity, fraud, or other wrongdoing.
Service Providers and Business Partners: We may engage selected external companies and individuals to perform complementary services to ours, collectively “Service Providers” (e.g., hosting services, content distribution services, data analytics services, advertising services or tools, cybersecurity and data protection services, fraud detection and prevention services, payment processing services, user engagement services, email distribution, and monitoring services, session recording services, and our business, legal, financial, and compliance advisors). These Service Providers may have access to your Personal Data, depending on each of their roles and specific purposes, to facilitate and complement our Services, and they may only use it for such purposes.
Third-Party Integrations: The Services allow you to integrate with certain third-party services, such as connecting your Facebook or Google account to the Services or your PayPal account for purchases, in which case you will be subject to the terms of service and privacy policies of such third parties (e.g., PayPal or Facebook), so make sure to read and accept them in advance. We do not receive or store your passwords for any of these third-party services.
Protection of Rights and Safety: We may share your personal data with others if we believe in good faith that this will help protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Shower Center, any of our users, or any member of the general public.
Shower Center Subsidiaries and Affiliated Companies: We may share personal information internally within our family of companies and affiliates, for the purposes described in this Policy. Additionally, if Shower Center or any of its affiliates undergo any change in control or ownership, including through a merger, acquisition, or purchase of any relevant assets, your personal data may be shared with the parties involved in such event. If we believe that such event could materially affect your personal data stored with us, we will notify you about this event and the options you may have through email and/or a prominent notice on our Services.
Further Data Sharing: We may share your personal data in additional ways if we are legally required to do so, or if such data is anonymized or non-personal. We may also disclose your personal data with your explicit consent. We may transfer, share, or use non-personal data at our sole discretion and without the need for further approval.
Communications
Service Communications: We may communicate with you with important information about our Services. For example, we may notify you (via any available means to us) of changes or updates to our Services, billing issues, etc. You cannot opt-out of receiving such service communications.
Promotional Communications: We may also notify you about new services, events, special opportunities, or any other information we believe you will find valuable. We will provide such notices through any available contact methods (e.g., phone, mobile, or email), through the Services, or through our marketing campaigns on any other site or platform. If you do not wish to receive such promotional communications, you may notify Shower Center at any time by writing to us using this form or by following the “unsubscribe,” “stop,” or “change email preferences” instructions in the promotional communications you receive.
Data Security
To protect your personal data that we and our service providers have, we use standard industry physical, procedural, and electronic security measures, including encryption where appropriate. However, please note that regardless of the security measures used, we cannot guarantee and do not warrant the absolute protection and security of the personal data stored with us or with third parties.
Data Subject Rights
If you wish to exercise your rights under applicable law, including GDPR or CCPA, such as the right to request access, rectification, or erasure of your personal data we have, or to restrict or object to the processing of such personal data, or to transfer such personal data, or the right to equal services and prices (each to the extent available to you under the laws applicable to you), please contact us using this form.
You may also delete your user account and related personal data simply by logging into your user account and using the “Delete Account” function. You may also contact us if you wish to opt-out of the sale of your personal data.
Please note that once you contact us via email, we may need additional information and documents, including certain personal data, to authenticate and validate your identity and process your request. We will then retain such additional data for legal purposes (e.g., to have proof of the identity of the person sending the request) in accordance with our data retention policy.
Please note that, in some cases, as we may rely on the APIs and systems of our service providers, your requests may require up to a few weeks to be processed.
Minors
Our Services are not intended to attract children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and we do not wish to do so. If we become aware that a child is using the Services, we will prohibit and block such use and make every effort to promptly address the situation.
If you believe that we may have such data, please contact us using this form.
Data Controller / Processor and Recipients
Certain data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, generally distinguish between two main roles for parties processing personal data: the “Data Controller” (or, according to CCPA, the “business”), who determines the purposes and means of processing, and the “Data Processor” (or, under CCPA, the “service provider”), who processes the data on behalf of the Data Controller. Below, we explain how these roles apply to our Services, to the extent that such laws and regulations are applicable.
Shower Center is the “Data Controller” of the personal data of its users and assumes the responsibilities of the Data Controller (solely to the extent required by law), as set out in this privacy policy.
If a User uploads or submits the personal data of any Recipient to our Services (e.g., in the process of creating an online digital card or updating the guest list for an event), we consider such User to be the “Data Controller” of their Recipients, and we will only process such data on behalf of our User as their “Data Processor,” following their reasonable instructions and subject to our Terms of Use. The User will be solely responsible for complying with the legal requirements applicable to Data Controllers (such as obtaining all necessary permissions and establishing the necessary legal bases for processing the data of their Recipients through the Services and responding to data subjects’ requests concerning that data.
Each User is solely responsible for the security, integrity, and authorized use of the Personal Data of their Recipients and for obtaining consents or establishing other necessary legal bases, permissions, and providing any fair processing notices required for the collection and use of such data.
If you are a Recipient of any of our Users, please note that Shower Center only processes your data solely on behalf of such User. If a Recipient wishes to make any requests or inquiries regarding their personal data, we recommend that they directly contact the relevant User. For example, if you are a Recipient who wishes to access, correct, or delete data processed by Shower Center on behalf of our Users, please direct your request to the respective User (who actually “Controls” such data). If we are requested to delete the Personal Data of any Recipient, we will respond to such request within thirty (30) days. Unless our User indicates otherwise, we will retain the Personal Data of their Recipients for the period specified in the previous section on Location, Storage, and Retention.
Updates and Amendments
We may update and amend this Policy by publishing an amended version on our Services. The modified version will become effective from the published effective date. We will provide advance notice if we believe that there are significant changes involved, through any available media or on the Services. After this notification period, all amendments will be considered accepted by you.
